A desire to explore newer challenges and a constant aspiration to enhance his skill-sets has been a deep-rooted philosophy for Shiva. An opportunity to hone his passion in Qatar in 1984 proved to be career-defining. Here, he not only came to be recognised for his penchant for hair styling, but also for his sheer artistry in conjuring innovative hair designs. Sports fanatics from Brazil, Korea and Sudan, with a taste for psychedelic hair-cuts composed of innumerable company logos, players and games, fed his hunger for experimentation. Having met with more success than he had anticipated, Shiva decided to return to India to share his styling philosophy across other budding talents.

An affinity for innovativeness brought Shiva numerous accolades all through his professional life. Notable among these, was winning the Salon International event for Wild and Wacky Hair in 1998. The triumph paved the way for a three-month trip to London, where he got a chance to interact with and learn from the world’s top-line hairdressers at the Vidal Sassoon Academy. Shiva is today also widely respected in the glamour world. He has gained adulation from big names such as Late Shri Balasaheb Thackeray, Shri Uddhavji Thackeray, Shrimati Rashmiji Thackeray, Mr. Aditya Thackeray and Mr. Tejas Thackeray. He has also served renowned celebrities such as Sunil Lulla, Krishika Lulla, Kishore Lulla, Madhur Bhandarkar, Shrimati Smitaji Thackeray, Sonu Sood, Neil Nitin Mukesh and many others.
